5.0 HO
Found a 5.0 HO on FB for a decent price. I’m in the process of pulling the 5.0 in my 95 out for a rebuild. I was going to rebuild it and add GT40 heads, but could I take the 5.0 HO and slap the GT40 heads and my stock intake on it? Any benefits to this? I know the HO’s have forged pistons, so there’s that.

The truck intake flows better than the car version so yes there are benefits. The forged pistons won't provide any benefits you can feel but the HO cam certainly does, with those heads it's a 300hp motor give or take.
