I have a 2019 Lariat that has the 360 deg view cameras. Problem is the images suck. In the daytime they’re usually washed out. At night the images are real grainy. Is there an adjustment or software setting to improve the images? It seems in this day and ages getting good images should be easy.
The image quality in my 2017 sucks too. I took it into the dealer within the first year and they said that all of them are like that. They lined up a new F-150 next to mine and sure enough, the image was just a bad in that.
I just wanted to see if anyone had fixes. Im thinking my daytime washout problem is due to sun hitting the lens directly. I might try to fashion some tiny hood over the front & rear cameras to see if that helps. Im not sure what can be done with the nighttime grainy images.
My wife’s 2007 Chevy Tahoe with 202K miles has better picture quality than my 2019 F-450 with 23K miles and I need to get the front camera replaced because it’s so cloudy you can’t see anything.
