Advance auto is closing out Trico Neoform wipers for less than $5 ea. I moved up from 20” to 24” finally after reading about it awhile ago. Quite a nice difference in how much windshield they clean. These were $25 wipers and seem to be high quality.
Thanks for the heads up! I switched all of my vehicles to Bosch Icon a couple years ago. But, at that price it might be worth stocking up a bit.
The length of the wipers from factory were tiny compared to the windshield in my opinion. I have been using 22" (I think) for the truck. Might give 24" a swipe at the job since you like them.
I went with longer blades some time back but I did notice they tend to skip at the high edge. On my motorhome I went from 26" to 28" Bosch Icons and I noticed last weekend they seem to be laboring and are a bit shaky like the motor is working too hard, in the future I may return to OEM sizes on both vehicles.
With both vehicles garaged and little rain here the blades can last years.
I had read that both 22 and 24 would work, so I actually bought both at that price just in case the 24 didn’t work out. I put the 24 on to test first, so far with limited use they seem to work great.
