Hello guys .I'm new to the forum .A lot of really good info here I see.
OK so I bought an 2007 E350 van .It's a 2V 6.8L engine.
Engine is locked up and it seems that it was run low of oil. Friend has a 2008 f250 put a 3 valve engine in it. The f250 is wrecked but the engine is good ,it starts and runs -no leaks .
Question, if I am able to hold the imrc open will this engine run with the Van's pcm ? And /or
Does anyone know of any aftermarket intake for a 3V that has no IMRC ?
I believe this same question has been asked and answered in another sub-forum here? As already said you can NOT fit a 3v engine into an E-Series. Nothing else matters at that point.
No ,it's In There .that is why I asked the question .Had to modify the exhaust to reach the manifolds used original oil cooler.pcv was tight but the engine is in .
I guess if It was a truck it would be the same question if going from 2V to 3V.
