I assume you have the H&S mini maxx (which is now obsolete and not supported by like anyone), if so it's like the last 'plug in' tuner that deletes the dps. if the H&S you have now is not for delete then you will probably need a tune shop. GL.
Yes thats what I'm running. I have heard about the high timing. If you know a way to change this or switch tuning that would be great.. I've heard good things from Ez lynk. And i have a tuning shop near me.
EZ LYNK (the device) via Auto Agent (which is user account based App and where the calibrations are saved) is a useful platform. Since you have this option nearby, ask the tuning shop if they are knowledgeable and have experience with the Ford 6.7L and the 6R140. If they write their own tunes, knowledge of how to properly calibrate the TCM for the 6R140 is just as important as the engine otherwise you'll want to find someone else who does know. It'll likely be emissions on calibrations so the shop is EPA compliant but moving away from H&S would be advisable in my opinion.
The tuning shop did the delete so I know they will do it. But does Ez lynk support a dpf delete?
Yes and No. EZ Lynk is just the platform. The tunes you have to have someone create. EZ Lynk's website now only shows tunes for intact emissions tunes. If you know of a shop that does deletes, they should be able to use EZ Lynk. They may also use their own platform or just modify your truck directly.
Do you know if EZ LYNK has any risk like the H&S does with high timing or anything like that?
The tunes that you can get through them should be safe but you want a delete tune so that is going to be up to whoever does the delete tune. If the shop you mentioned has a dyno then they should be able to safely tune your truck.
You stated your shop already deleted your truck so I assume they should be safe. Or is your truck completely stock minus the emissions?
They do have a dyno. And yeah the only thing I did to it was the H&S mini maxx and the full egr, dpf delete.
I personally recommend doing several upgrades before asking the truck for more horsepower: Turbo, valve springs, and heads studs. If you don't you run high risks of damaging your engine.

The guy who tuned my truck used Ez Lynk. I do not have the actual device. He got the tune set up for me with a 5 position switch.
The EZ LYNK/Auto agent platform is only as safe (or unsafe) as the calibrations written by the tuner (called the technician in Auto Agent) and then assigned to your registered auto agent customer profile. The EZ LYNK device itself is just a WiFi/Bluetooth network device that creates the connection between OBDII and a wireless connected device. For the 1.0 WiFi model, the EZ LYNK issues an IP address using DHCP to the connected phone or tablet just like a device connecting to your home router. The EZ LYNK device itself doesn't store any data and does not need to remain connected unless you want to monitor data PIDs. Uploading/writing a calibration file erases the ECM/TCM and then installs the custom calibration you chose to upload from Auto Agent.
Ya I dont really care about the power. I mean its nice but I dont wanna blow the motor. And since its a 2011 I think those upgrades would be a good investment anyway.

Ok I understand it now. Is there a way I can use a actual monitor instead of my phone for it?
