I personally recommend doing several upgrades before asking the truck for more horsepower: Turbo, valve springs, and heads studs. If you don't you run high risks of damaging your engine.
The guy who tuned my truck used Ez Lynk. I do not have the actual device. He got the tune set up for me with a 5 position switch.
I dont care about the power of it. But i think it being a 2011 it would be worth the investment anyway for the upgrades.
Ya I dont really care about the power. I mean its nice but I dont wanna blow the motor. And since its a 2011 I think those upgrades would be a good investment anyway.
If you don't want more power then you should at least consider rebuilding or replacing your turbo. The bearings suck and it probably could use a good cleaning.
Ok I understand it now. Is there a way I can use a actual monitor instead of my phone for it?
There are other devices like the Insight CTS3 member DTECH mentioned or the Banks iDash (unsure about 2011 compatibility) but that's an added expense if you also have to buy the EZ LYNK vs the shop using their device with your phone/tablet. If you have an old iphone or android with a supported OS version you could use it for the device to monitor the info from the EZ LYNK and keep it in the truck.
There are a few threads on the iDash product. Several members here who have one like it.

Okay I just wanna make sure other monitors can work with the EZ LYNK. I just like the idea of having a actual monitor compared to a phone. Appreciate the helpful tips.
