Body panel alignment and checking for gremlins

Uploading some general photos of the body panel and door fitment on the 3000 dollar F250. To my eye most looks straight but I am an amateur and by no means an expert. If you are not farmiliar with the project, the bed is going and will be replaced with a flat bed and camper shell that will eventually be my home on wheels.

All the horizontal body lines line up nicely and all the body panel gaps look parallel and equal to me. Depending on the age and mileage, you might want to check out the condition of the radiator support and body mounts. They might be fine with the stock body configuration, but start adding more weight and/or stress to old fatigued mounts and they can start failing quickly. That flatbed and camper will induce more frame flex which will stress them. A whole set of polyurethane mounts is only a couple hundred bucks. There might be silicone mounts for your truck, but they aren't cheap.

I appreciate your advice and the information. As things progress I will definitely take your advice and purchase those body mounts. What would be the benefit of silicone vs urethane? I could easily google it but then what is the point of sharing info and being on the forums?
