Really haven’t gone over it very well yet. Whatever I do with it I want to remove the chassis, sandblast it and rebuild or replace everything. It was a V8 but the flathead & tranny are long gone.

You should have heard my wife when she found out I bought ANOTHER Panel. 5 trucks isn’t bad if you say it fast!

well one consolation is that you can fit a single sized mattress in a panel and it will keep the rain off you sleeping

BJ,
Pretty good looking panel!
5 trucks! You have a problem! Much similar to my 5-6 tractor problem. I need to get out in the shop and work on the stuff I have started!

That unibody look is very nice design. Wouldnt that have been a game changer for Ford! I like it!
Will be watching for your progress.
Regards,
Chris

IF I do the Unibody I’ll get a topper. But even if I keep it a Panel homie is TOO OLD for anymore sleeping in the car.

Sure wish I had a helper. Not sure what I’m doing with 5 trucks. All except my 56 Panel were rescues. Just hate seeing them rusting in a field.

Nice find. The side of that pane you show looks way too nice to think about hacking it up. Hope the other side, rear doors and top are as nice.

It looks like an Australian Ute.

That guy has quite an eclectic collection of iron...looking at that ol' skool sled makes we wonder what happened at FOMOCO between 1940 and 1941 (WWII?) that caused them to lose their sense of style. Hard to believe that a car company could build an iconic design in 1940 and then completely lose it one year later. I would like to have that Henry J, don't see many of those any longer..at least without a gasser conversion. Thanks for the pics, good luck with the panel.

Both rear quarters are Fair, barn doors are pretty beat up and roof above the cab has lots of dents.
