Welcome to FTE!

I can read the code, JC, but I can't find that in the Tech folder above, which has some 1980s info.

I can't read the rest of it.

What year is the truck? Can you post a clear picture of the sticker?

Can't find a thing.

Try:

https://www.faxonautoliterature.com/....aspx?c=180847

https://www.ebay.com/itm/13110058170...Cclp%3A2499334

You can look on the axle for numbers, sometimes just above the pinion you will find the ratio.

I have a 93 F-800
Been looking for some of those books for a while
Just ordered the service manuals from eBay and a couple of wiring diagram books from Faxonautoliterure
Thanks 85e150 for the links
I don't remember seeing the vin code break down in repair manuals, but went they get here I'll look and list them if they are there

Is the drivetrain original? According to my source of information, the transmission code CV is listed as a Eaton FS-5005B five speed manual. The axle code JC comes back to what I surmise to be a two speed axle RS-19-220 with ratios 4.30/5.00. Although I don't claim to be any kind of expert on medium duty trucks, I don't think I've ever heard of any automatic trucks equipped with two speed axles. Hope this helps.

As far as I know. The truck is selling at auction next weekend. I'm trying to find a better a axle ratio than my current setup, 6.14

6.14's are gas burner gears although I have seen them in a few trucks with the high reving 3208 Cat diesel, but they weren't very fast.
m-chan68's numbers are spot on for a 5.9 equipped truck
If the truck sells next week the books I've ordered won't do much good, tracking says they won't get to my house tell around the 11th and I'll be at the Ford FE Race and Reunion in PA 9th to 11th
