Just the opposite for us. Wife sits VERY vertical, I'm slightly leaned back to get pressure of my tailbone that I've fractured twice.
I would say my seat back is the same, slightly leaned back with a good amount of lumbar support added in to help with lower back pain due to scoliosis. However, my wife likes her seat back reclined much more than I do. I think I'd fall asleep if I had it reclined that much.
Well, mine does not adjust. A major bummer, because of my neck problems. Over the last 4 years, in my 2017, they have been life-savers. I will be ordering new ones TODAY.
Unfortunately the 22’s are pitched way further forward it seems. No other ford that I’ve been in have I had this issue.
My wife had a 2011 Fusion Hybrid for commuting. I found the headrests VERY intrusive. I had to keep my shoulders well off the seatback to keep my back straight. Every time I got into her car I had to remove the head rests. They made the entire seat into a "C" and pushed my head forward way too much.
Do the 22 headrest remove the same as the 17? I usually remove the center rear headrest for better view while hitching up. When I push the button it will go up and down, but not pull out entirely.
This is still going on. I bought a 2022 Ford F-150 Lariat with Baja Tan interior and it came with non-adjustable headrests. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal if it wasn't that they were angled so far forward. I turned the headrests around until I found this thread. I ordered the adjustable headrest mechanism (no cover) from nwfordparts.com using part number ML3Z-96611A08-A from Midas13's post. Moving the covers over was a bit of a pain but they fit fine and the headrest is great now.

FYI that on the Super Duty, the fixed angle cover (2022 F350 Lariat) will not fit the adjustable version, so you need to order new covers. I simply went with the black covers since I had no other option. Looks fine since a lot of the interior of Baja tan is still black and gray.
