Probably not. Just being 5 years old will make a difference plus the stitching might be different.

considering I just drove my 19, traded it in and drove the 22 home I’m telling you they aren’t the same. The 2019 isn’t as soft and is shinier.

i could be sorely mistaken, but I know my leather or whatever it is in my 19 lariat was definitely shinier.

Brought the 2022 home tonight. In the 80 miles driving, my neck got sore because my head was too far forward compared to everything else. First thing I did when I pulled it in the garage was use a little muscle grease to adjust the angle of the dangle on the the two head rests. The one in the foreground is stock and the one in the background is the newly adjusted angle. In my testing, it appears to now be much better.

Did you just pull on it from the back seat…..or push it back with from the front? Looks like problem solved.

I took the headrests to the bench vice. One leg in the vice. I then took a pipe on the other leg and wrenched on it carefully, using my chest and arm to hold the cushion part of the head rest in place as best as possible.

Same way I do mine. Once they start to move they move easy.

I still cannot believe this is a thing on 80k trucks. There seems to be a number of items I will be missing going from my 17 to the 22 similar equipped truck.

Took delivery of my 2022 today, trading in my 2017. After reading this thread I was concerned about the change in the headrests, but with the way we position our seat backs neither me or the wife found them to be an issue. For the record, she sets her seat back in a more reclined position and I prefer more upright.

I didn’t read everyone’s post so excuse me if it’s been said but my 22 platinum has the ratchet (adjustable) headrest. Not sure on pricing or fitment on other models but maybe they would work/match for other models. Just FYI
