blowing fuses in #22 glowplug controller

blowing fuses in #22 glowplug controller
please help.I was driving down the road a 1/4 mile from house and 1997 ford power stroke died.I checked fuse
#22 30 amp and it was blowen.I replaced it with another
and it blew too.I call dealer and they said it was a glow
plug relay.I replaced that ,but it still is shorting out the
fuse in #22 which handles the the glow plug controller.
lights and everthing else works but the wait to start light
I wandering where the dead short is causing this problem

You can safely remove the wire and then see if your engine starts if it does change this component. Yes I tired what you said it was the heater element that
was bad.I the truck started right up.I really appriecate your kindnessI went day to get the heater parts from the dealer andtry to put them in You a kind and classy guy to help me bless you kent

If you are blowing #22 fuse, disconnect the wire on the filter housing.
THEN replace the fuse with a good one.

where is the filer housing. ive goen threw lie k5 fuses today trying to start her up and still no luck. it only does it when its cold out and if its not pluged in for a lil while to.and i replaced the gloe plug realy to.so what shoudl i do know?
