Can someone tell me if these look like the proper pulleys for a Y-block in a 1955 F100? The reason I ask is the fan belt rubs against the water pump pulley, so something not correct. I’ve been looking at water pump pulleys on eBay and there seems to be several different ones. Looking to get the right one. Thanks.
I see one picture that fan belt is crooked maybe my eyes? It could be possible the fan hub pulley and fan could be for a flathead why don't you just shim the fan mount out a little thats easy. So looks like its not the pump or crank pulley its the wrong fan that says flatheads do not have a water pump there and you do, so shim the mount until the belt is straight.... We have a couple 272 or 292 engines in out stock and that fan pulley is (without a ruler like 1/4 inch out ) ... sam
@abe , The water pump pulley on your F350 looks similar to one that's for sale that says it for trucks. The one on your F100, I haven't seen before. Is it an aftermarket pulley?
@big job I believe the fan pulley is directly over the crank pulley but the belt is hitting the water pump pulley on the left side causing it to be push forward. I will double check it with a straight edge this evening.
My "Y" is out of 63 but the top picture looks like the water pump pulley flairs out where the belt rubs and in the other pictures the guys posted it's narrow.
I'm going to guess your water pump pulley is wrong. Here are some pics This is a fan mounted pulley picture above This is a high mount fan water pump pulley

Thanks, this helps. Any chance I can get you to measure the depth of the truck pulley. After I pulled mine off, I realized there were nuts being used as spacers. It appears I need a pulley that's only 2 1/4" deep. Also any chance you have one for sale?
