Headlight circuit wire

I recently install some Glowshift gauges into my ‘99 and would like to wire in the nighttime dimmer function for them. I would like to wire that function into the headlight circuit, but I am not sure which wire at the headlight switch is the headlight circuit. Anyone know what color this wire is?

If you want them to dim then it's the dimmer circuit you need to tap into, not the headlight circuit, unless you're saying they have their own built in dimmer and you just need power?

Correct, they have their own built in dimmer function. Looking at the wiring diagram, it would be the red and yellow wire I need to tap into?

Yes, wire R/Y, pin 6, on the headlight switch connector.

Food for thought, rather than the headlamp circuit, you might want to tap into the parking lamps circuit instead. That way you can have them on without having to have the headlamps on too. For that tap into the BR wire or pin 14 of the parking lamps circuit pin.
