New F350 w/6300 miles. First time I pulled with this truck was an old utility trailer with a couple of ATVS. Noticed a shake at around 60+. Just thought it was the tires on the old trailer. Replaced tires still have the problem.
pulled our camper on an hour trip and same thing. It’s not death wobble but sure is a problem.
dealer says they can’t duplicate… I asked if they pulled a trailer abs they said no. Well… no ******, it’s only noticeable while pulling a trailer. They told me to call Ford CS! They checked for recalls and found nothing.
this is a real problem, I bought this truck to pull with and I can go much over 65-70.
anyone else experiencing this? Is there a thread on this that you can point me to?
any help would be appreciated.
Tim

OK…..If the trailer tires are not balanced they can do this to the tow rig. Damn few tire places will balance trailer tires unless specifically asked to do so, and even then they might just do a hurry up job to get one out the door and the next one in. I would check that first before taking it up with FoMoCo.

it is happening with multiple trailers, I’m convinced it’s the truck
Might try pulling the trailers with a different truck to confirm.
well, we just replaced out F150 with this F350. Can’t imagine the camper and utility trailer both got bad tires in between us getting a new truck. Also it’s not a consistent shake like a tire. It shakes for 10 seconds and doesn’t for 20, then again for 10 then doesn’t for 20 seconds. Very odd

When I put new tires on the 5th wheel I had them balanced just to cut down on vibration in the trailer. I like my pots and pans to be where I left them. If for no other reason I would do that. Mind you I'm a 5th wheel kind of guy, but I wonder if your WDH isn't putting enough weight on the front axle? If the hitch height has changed between trucks that might have screwed things up a bit.

What year 350? If it’s a 2020 manufactured between Sept 2020- to I believe 5/15/2021 you may be a victim of the collapsing rear axle.
This vibration is very uncommon, but there is a forum member that posted about it within the last couple of years. Search the forum, either the 2017+ subforum or the towing subforums.
What ball mount are you using? Are you using reducer sleeves?
