So it has to make you think ??? All the 2021 Trucks that were sitting waiting on chips are certainly not on the road. If those of us that ordered a 2022 early and have trucks coming what stopped them from changing a couple extremely minor things and calling it a 2022? Of course I am spoiled and traded my 2020 Sport Lariat to get the bigger Nav screen but the 2022 is exact same truck as my 2020 except the leather and Nav. So how easy is it to change the dash and call it a 2022? I actually love the way it looks so I don't need a big change. Love the 6.7 and the Sport but I surely do not want to pay 78k for a truck sitting on the lot for a year or more.

No it doesn't make you think. Manufactured trucks have VINs. The VINs state they are '21 models. There may be many, many differences in manufacturing process but the bigger NAV screen and leather may be all you see. If you ordered a '22, you're getting a '22.
A 2022 is a 2021 with a few updates, that is how it works with year to year evolutionary changes.
But no, they are not taking already built 2021's and making the changes to make them 2022's.
There are no 2021's that they won't sell in this rabid market, just as they are.
