so since there was no ford tool kit/bag in 55. A good tool kit would be a .25 feeler gauge, a 5/16, 1/2, 9/16 wrench, flat blade screw driver, Phillips screw driver, adjustable pliers, monkey wrench, tire iron, jack, and 13/16 socket and ratchet. Correct?

I think the brass nut on the points stud is 5/16 for the condenser lead, I would throw a spare points and condenser in the bag. A wheel genie to get the hub caps off is a good addition also.

the brass nut is a 5/16. What is a wheel genie I’ve never heard of one?
I would advise a cheap Harbor Freight VOM and test light. These have come in really handy and take up hardly any space. I have a jump pack on board too.
I have a Retrax on my truck so I keep a pretty comprehensive tool box on board. I have tools for my dirt bikes like T-handles and tire pressure gauge, spoke wrench, etc. in addition to a full set of sockets, ratchets, pliers etc. It's too heavy to wrestle with so it stays. I have 2 small tubs with travel trailer and dirt bike odds and ends.
I'm pretty confident about the reliability of my truck so I guess most of the tools are for when I'm out with my bike or towing the trailer.
