Tool kit

Does anyone have a picture of the tool kit for a 53-56 Ford?

I don't think there was a kit. You got a jack and a jack handle. In my 55 F350 I got a lug wrench. When I get to my desktop I can post a picture.

it was a leftover option from the 48-52 trucks. I’m sure it was only available for part of the 53 model year until supplies ran out. I do not have any pics nor have I ever owned one

Here is one for a 52, probably a lot of commonalities.

Ok thanks I thought I saw it as on an option in one of the sales brochure but once I re-looked it’s a mechanical jack and tool. So I guess now does anyone have a picture of the jack and tool?

Have you a half or three quarter ton? Three quarter tons had a wheel bearing nut wrench and a wrench for the nuts on the spare tire hanger. Both hard to find, it seems.

Here is the jack and tools that were in my 55 F350 when I bought it. The F350 jack is a bit bigger than the F100 jack.

The jack and handle were not in my grandfather's truck, my 54, when I got it. He bought it new. But I THINK the F-100 trucks only came with the jack and handle.

It’s a half ton. ok and from the sales brochure I found it was just the jack and handle.

Here’s the truck it’s a 223 and a four speed we went to ford fever yesterday and had a lot of fun with it even though it was 95 degrees or so.

JB, that is quite a nice tool kit. What is that white thing?

The reflector flare kit was an extra cost option in 53-55's.

It's an old foldable carpenters rule. It didn't come with the tools but it's probably from the same era.

I’ll get more when I get home it’s actually my dads first truck he got in 1987 it had actually been restored then with a new motor and all that. But in 2003 he decided that having a restored mustang wasn’t good enough and wanted to restore that I remember on a family vacation since we live on the west coast we were near mid fifty’s ford and we filled the cargo trailer with truck parts, he finished the restoration in 2007 and all of 2007-2008 we went to all of the local car shows then time got in the way and we parked it until yesterday. I’m the first one to drive it down the road besides my dad and I drive it the farthest yesterday with a total of about 150 miles round trip and the truck didn’t miss a beat.

This was pulling it out for my senior photos and it was my moms first time driving it since the redoing it

This is the trophy we got in it

Abe, the white thing is a grease gun. I have one somewhere that pop had. Ours isn’t white, just metal colored. Don’t know if it came from a kit.

The grease gun is plated cadmium, it looks white because the instructions are wrapped around it.
