Ok folks, I love my old 2000 F250 7.3. I have taken great care of this beast and it shows BUT we live in a world right now where many people have ZERO respect for others property much less themselves. I have a place on the left rear quarter panel area of the bed that keeps getting smashed by dippschitte careless tourists and just bad people. (Yep, mad as he££ right now). This is the third time since I have owned this truck that I have to pound out a dent. This is a big one, the worst yet. Any suggestions?
As frequent as it happens, have you thought about a dash/back up cam that records front and rear with a vibration sensor upon impact? Catch the a holes and have their insurance cover the repair bill.
I am for sure thinking about it now. I have installed super bright back up lights underneath the rear pf the truck and am very careful. Sadly, I live in a tourist town.
The problem is that (well not a problem but just a consequence of owning a well built truck) Ford has reinforced this area so you just cant crawl under there with a rubber hammer and start banging away. This time I am going to seek the advice of a guy who is an expert "dent puller".
