I've never seen one in any trucks in the few JY's where I live either. My truck has holes in that spot and I suspect it had one originally. There's no under-the-bed spare tire carrier. I think the PO took it before he sold it to me, he only owned the truck for a short bit and he was a big Ford truck fan having 6-7 of these dentsides at his house. I'm sure he knew how uncommon they are.
