Is Valentine’s Day an excuse for men to show how romantic they are or just another trumped-up holiday tribute to consumerism, like Personal Assistant Day and Father’s Day?
I found some stats on a blog site that I thought to be telling: 85 percent of all Valentines cards are bought by women; while 73 percent of flowers on February 14 are bought by men. No wonder men have to be reminded to be romantic. They buy flowers and all they get in return is a card!
