What year is this 9", I can take more pics if needed. I need to order a couple drum brake parts and they need a year make model at Oreilly. From a little research the 389 means 3.89 ratio
"4AB" is the date code. 4 is the year, A is the month and B is the week. So your rear was built the second week of January, either 1964 or 1974. Ford changed the style of tag in very late 1973, this is the earlier style so I would suspect 1963.

They don't care about ratios or what year the axle housing is, they want to know if it is a 1963 Ford F-100 pickup or what?
Likely has 10 or maybe 11" drums.

The truck that it is in is irrelevant because it was swapped into the truck from something else, just have the tag to go off
Thanks for the help everyone. I went down to Oreilly and Napa but neither one had the parts I'm looking for. Im looking for the parking brake levers and links if anyone has some sitting around they would want to sell. Also need the parking brake lever equalizer that connects the 2 rear cables to the front cable (not part of diff I know just mentioning I’m looking for it if you have an extra)
The parking brake lever is the red circle on left and the link is the top circle, disregard blue spring

Well, you maybe know if it's Ford, you can measure diameter and shoe width too. It is a drum brake. Ford used a lot of 9" drum brakes, a lot of 10" drum brakes, and a lot of 11" drum brakes like on the back of my '77. Some of what you are looking for was also used by GM or Chrysler or International.
Have you got anything to match up? You think or know that the whole rear was swapped including brakes or just the rear between the brakes??? Salvage yard might be the place to look.
