What seems simple has me cursing
What seems simple ,has me cursing,,anybody have a back picture behind motor bracket,,,looking for direction of wiper arm lever,,,,Ive had it at 12 oclock 6 oclock 3 oclock,,,I keep binding the arms (wiper arm lever 17A436) wont allow it to rotate,,,,,wonder if anybody else has struggled with this,,,what a hold up,,,,thanks for any help
Thanks Rich,still cursing lightly,,,,,clocked it at nine,,,,,,turn key arm hits drivers side,,,,,what a hassel,,,,everything looks correct.The motor has a sq. keyway where the lever bolts,,,,,even with a mirror its hard to see if you enguage the key ,,,who woulda thought. This sucks
maybe I will have to take #17531 off the arms,,,,,clock the lever to 9 oclock,,,,,this will allow me to seat the lever correct,snug that up,,,,and the re-install arms,,,let you know
well still trying to figure the wiper attachments out ,swaped motor with my original motor,,,,,,,quiter but no luck......then today with maginifiying glass saw on drivers side arm stateing right side,,,,left on passenger. Looking at the drawling in the LMC catalog it shows the left on drivers side.So tommorow Ill remove and go from there,,,,,any input appreciated
yep you can put them in backwards,,,,,,,working good,timer on the money,,,,,,motor a little noisey,,,,,,,deal with that down the road. Left is drivers side,Right passenger.Dah! I never took the assembly apart when removed,,,,,,, it can go either way ,just only works one way
Ok so looking at this diagram IMO shows the motor arms to be pointing at the dvrs side of the truck @ 9 o'clock. As far as 12, 3, 6, and 9 are basic clock angle directions. The 1st red box is a BACK side view of the second red box. IMO
its those frickin arms ,they only work one way.....page 145 of LMC noticed washer reservoir and # 3 bracket.#3 specifys left. This was my clue Im reversed......Wa La Homerun...Thanks Rich for your help,always appreciated
