Which way do they go?

1992 ford f250 axle plates
I Forgot to mark the right side.The left one faces the tire Does anyone know if it matters.1 side is notched

It’s just a spring plate. They should be the same part for both sides. On second thought are you working on the front or rear of the truck?

I know on the rear of some Toyota trucks the plate is marked front..
