I have a Century cap and they also have that same drip edge extension that helps prevent water from getting in on the sides.
Its hard to tell in the pic, but that cap covers the actual seam quite a bit.
I've had caps on my last 3 trucks, I'll never not have one. Love it.
Century is the same cap as Leer. Owned by the same company and made in the same factory. I have a century cap on order for my truck. We will see which one shows up first, the truck or the cap, LOL.
@MrMallerd do you mind sharing the model number. That sure would like nice on my blue jean truck.
That looks to be the 100XQ. I have one on order. Lead time was quoted 3-4 months due to glass shortage of the 1 piece glass on the 100XQ model. Now it is a race to see if the truck or cap shows up first!

I have read that. I think they may even share a website or something. When I went looking at caps for the new truck (well in '19) I think you could link from Leer to Century right on the home page or something. This is my 3rd Century. Been a satisfied customer to date for sure.
Good luck with yours and your new truck.
Really like the look of a lot of these. I noticed a few of yours have tracks on top for a rack system. Does anyone use those racks or have any reservations about the carrying capacity and reducing the overall life of the cap? I’d like to get a Leer mid-rise and put my kayaks on top, but that seems like a lot of weight and a large moment being exerted on the fiberglass going down the road at 60 mph. Thanks!
