Looks great, how much was that, if you don't mind me asking?
My XQ was right close to 4k with all the bells (keyless entry, lights, headliner, roof rack rails, etc. They hit the quoted lead time of 6 weeks. I was going to go with an A.R.E. but they were 16 weeks out.
I picked up a Leer 122 last year through PNW retailer Canopy World. Ordered in June '20 right as things were just starting to open back up after the initial COVID lockdowns. Took about 9 weeks for delivery and it was installed in late August '20. Ran ~$2850 at the time with the removable front window and fully carpeted. Been very pleased with the quality and look and love all the room inside. I also think the truck/trailer combo looks a whole lot better with it as well - and it does reduce the cap surface area that gets plastered with bugs a good bit too.
I'm really thinking this is going to be the color of my next one and I'll probably put a topper on it. Make sure and post up a pic when you finally get it on.
I have an ARE for work... leaks so much. Its my first ever cap, and I'm not impressed. Very functional, but too much water ingress at the rear. One of these days I'll climb in it and figure out where its coming from.
T Banning... you got a great deal! Wow!
I'm not usually a fan of capped trucks, but some of these look really nice. Others... well... Mom always said "if you don't have anything nice to say...".
I don’t plan to take it off so I guess I could live with that. I will be building a truck cap camper so I don’t want it to leak.
One of the things I like about the leer - same model as the OP - is the extension of the fiberglass topper on the sides down past the place where the topper rests on the truck bed. It forms a sort of "drip edge" so the water does not hang around looking for ways to leak into the bed.

I have a Century cap and they also have that same drip edge extension that helps prevent water from getting in on the sides.
Its hard to tell in the pic, but that cap covers the actual seam quite a bit.
I've had caps on my last 3 trucks, I'll never not have one. Love it.
