Yes, I believe there is a way. If I'm not mistaken its called the "Comfort and Convienience" package. Just look for that and it should have a leather interior unless Ford quit selling that package.

I couldn't get gray leather in a lariat, couldn't get leather in the xlt either but then back when I bought mine it was tough to find one with an automatic.
Since have heard gray leather is available. Don't know about leather in a xlt though.
Times have changed. Last visit to the dealer 15 lariats on the floor 2 xlt's. When I bought there were 2 lariats 1 xlt w/auto and 20 xlt's with the stick. hmmm? I guess ford knows where their gravy train comes from.

Just wondering if you are referring to the light gray leather, like mine (look at my pics). Now that I think about it, I don't think I've seen another truck around with this color leather. Is it kind of rare? Just curious.

There were Powerstroke badges on the front of the fender, but if I'm not mistaken they were only used for a short time on the early '99s.
