Trailer TPMS & Camera Kit - Help Needed

For any of you that tow on a regular basis, I highly, highly recommend this kit for your Super Duty! In our first long trip with this kit installed on our tandem axle race-car trailer, we got a low tire pressure alert out in the middle of nowhere. Had we not known, that tire would have gone completely flat and then the weight of that side of the trailer would be solely on the one tire and we certainly could have had a blow-out. In my mind the kit paid for itself on that first trip!

Here's where I need some help. My son towed this trailer recently with his Ram truck. The unique, multi-pin plug for the TPMS/Camera kit was not properly secured and it drug on the ground and was pretty much ruined. We need to replace this plug. Can anyone help me with a part number so that I can order one?? Thanks in advance!

isn;t the plug attached to the 35 foot of wire, i think that you have to replace all the wiring, not just the plug portion

Yeah it is - essentially coming from the TPMS black box mounted under the trailer... but where to stop? Hopefully the plug itself has a part number - like most other electrical plugs used in the truck.

The plug isn't sold by itself, you will need the short harness section that also has the TPMS section. I also suggest using the 12 pin storage coupler to prevent dragging the cord again.

There is one vendor that does have the harness available and in stock. https://nicholsmanufacturingandweldi...em-replacement

Thank you, ford390gashog. I bit the bullet and ordered. A $180 lesson. The storage coupler IS mounted to the trailer and commonly used to protect the plug when disconnected. The (dumb) issue is that we had zip tied the "normal" 7- pin connector with the TPMS connector since they both plug in at nearly the same location. Dumb insofar that we didn't think about the scenario of the trailer occasionally being connected to a different truck.

I think lots of us zip tied the cables together as it works better.
