Park on the street. As long as the HOA doesn’t own the street, they can’t do anything about it. Our HOA has rules against parking on the street, but they found it is illegal for them to enforce it.

Unfortunately this is a gated community and they do own the streets. This is the first place I have lived with an HOA and hopefully the last.
As for garages, I had a 24' x 24' garage at my last house but didn't own any big vehicles. I got into RV'ing a year after moving here so a big garage wasn't on my list when I bought this place. So far everyone is fine with me parking here but not sure what I will do if anyone ever complains. Guess I will have to move because I'm not selling the truck and camper.
In the end reread your HOA agreement. If there is a loop hole, have your lawyer look at it. My wife and I looked at a condo this past spring. The HOA would not let you own a boat unless it fit in the garage, no trailer unless it fit in the garage, no working on cars outside, no non-running cars, no street parking, no changing the landscaping, the yard or you were forced to sell. Needless to say we didn't buy in Stalag 17. Good luck. If you are like me, they will pry my truck from my cold dead hands.
I had an F150 parked out back a few years ago and others park on the other side of the neighborhood so it isn't likely anyone will complain. Also, I bring my camper in when I load it and unload it and most of my neighbors think its neat so they aren't likely to complain. Don't know what I will do if anyone does though, because I'm not getting rid of it.
My HOA pres literally melted down when I had a new 40 foot 5'er delivered.
"How long is this going to be here"
"A couple days, I'm going to load all my stuff in it..."
"No it isn't!"
A crowd gathered...
Cops were called.
Sheriff comes out, listens to everybody.
"Who plows the streets when it snows?"
"The streets are owned by the township, he isn't blocking any traffic. Leave the man alone and go about your business..."
Frankly I'm fine with neighbors thinking I'm an scoundrel.

I would read your HOA rules and see if you can lay down pavers and park in your front yard area there. I write up HOA docs (critique them) and there is probably a million loop holes as long as you arent on public space. I would do it before they start paying attention and creating new rules.
Make sure they are permeable pavers and save the paperwork.
When I was on the board of an HOA, there was a situation that came up where the HOA decided to enforce a rule that had been on the books since inception, but never enforced. It turned out that because of the lack of enforcement, the rule was unenforceable. This was in south Texas. Maybe it was a Texas thing.

Actually, my front yard is smaller than my driveway. This is a near zero lot neighborhood. The back yard would hold the truck but don't think I would go there unless I absolutely had to.
HOA won't let you park sideways and it will only take ONE person that got the HOA slap for something stupid for them to complain about you.
This is the reason you don't live in an HOA... so stupid and so glad they are not a big thing up here.
I bought the house I wanna do what I WANT to/with it... but then some people like to be micromanaged hahaha
HOA's don't seem to be a thing up here in Canada, or at least not to the same extent. Worst they do is make you have your paint/siding/shingles match the rest of the neighborhood, and even that is pretty rare.

Since you are not on a city street you are unfortunately subject to the HOA protesting. I know that in the subdivision next to mine with strict HOA rules those orange safety cones in the street would have an angry mob of neighbors at your door within minutes. You have a lot of truck in the street, I would think it is just a matter of time before the complaints start rolling in. I would already have the house on the market, doesn't seem like it really suits your needs anyway.

I should clarify I don't park it like this normally. Only had it there to wash it and then moved it back to the extra parking area.
I love the house and the neighborhood but I have outgrown the yard and garage. Moving may be on my list of things to do and will definitely be if I get a complaint.
