Air Bag Switch
Ok....Just wondering if a right-side air bag shut off switch could be easily added to a 99 Expy. Since everything is set up pretty much like the F150, should'nt one of those switches work?
I know this sounds like a stupid question, but once in a while my 8 year old son would really like to ride up front with his dad and I refuse to put him in front of an air bag.
Thanks in advance for any insight you can give (wiring...switch..my stupidity...etc.)

I can't really answer your question, but I have an expy, my father has the f150 and here's what i know -
The F150 seat doesn't slide back away from the airbag NEAR as far as the expy. It's nearly impossible to test, but if you put the seat all the way back I doubt the airbag would even reach the seat. Sorry for no real help, just my thoughts.
