I really wouldn't have cleaned the maf with brake cleaner, as it is an electronic device, it probably should have been cleaned with electrical parts cleaner.
I would start by reseting the computer by pulling the fuse for the eec and cranking the motor, then replace the fuse and start the car.
Then see if the code comes back.
If you don't want to invest in new o2 sensors right now, you might want to pull them out and clean with electrical parts cleaner and see if that does it.
Thanks For all the information!
I now have a code P1151 in the computer. Maybe this is telling me a good clue as the information I read on the forums tell be this is fuel related. When I purchased the truck a couple of months ago it seem to run fine other than a rough idle at times once warmed up. I started it this Saturday after it had sit overnight and when I got onto the road it ran fine for about 5 seconds then acted like it was running out of gas. It would not go untill I pressed the pedal to the floor a couple of times. Then it Popped out of the trottle body like a bad timed carburator engine and ran with a chugging speed. After about 1 minute it had power and ran. I do notice also it is using alot of fuel and when I press the pedal alot, as if passing, it will dicscharge alot of unburned fuel smoke breifly. Thanks for your help, very much.

I will do that tomorrow. Thanks for the info. I replaced the PCV valve recently and checked for tight fit at the valve. It was good, but I really did not check it at the back of the throttle body. But I will. What a GREAT WEB SITE!

Pcv valve hose checked good. Replaced IAC today and resulted in smooth idle. Engine also does not race to 2200RPM or so at start. Sounds more normal and not as hard on engine. Backed out of driveway and it still will not reve up at first. Will replace 02 sensors later in week to clear code P1151. Still looking on the magic cure.

Really starting to wonder if I killed the MAF after spraying brake cleaner on to clean. What exactlly does this sensor for? Does it regulate the amount of fuel being sprayed by the injectors? Thanks for the help, Guy's.

brake kleen is perfectly safe for cleaning maf. It is a fast drying solvent that leaves no residue, very similar to the electronics part cleaner in that respect. maf senses the density and volume of air headed towards the throttle body.
Sounds like it might be time to take it in and get the fuel pressure checked. If the fuel pressure is too high it can cause your problem.
A Ford dealer tech can also hook up their WDS or NGS scan tool and check the MAF and O2 operation to see if there is a problem there. In the end it will probably be better and cheaper than throwing parts at it.
