With the Wright tools, couple hours. The back and lower side valve cover bolts on the passenger side are a bi---. A good adjustable angle wrachet wrench will save you a lot of time. Good luck.

Take the right side fender liner out, then you can take the inside panel of the heat box off that'll open that area right up, I can do all that in about 15 minutes.

That would be easier, if you don't have a flare package on. Removing the flare and reinstalling with out damage is time consuming.

You can reach in with a wrachet wrench and get those 3 bolts without all the fender well aggravation.

I've never removed the wheel liner and heater box before. Maybe worth the effort, but I expect, like most of these projects, the first time you remove/replace those parts takes a whole lot longer than the next times. Most people jump into the valve covers thinking they're not going to be coming back for awhile and don't bother learning such time-saving tricks because they won't actually save time the first time.

That said, if you haven't done dummy plugs and standpipes before, a lot of time will be spent digging through your tools looking for the exact combination of drivers, sockets, extensions required for each of quite a few hard-to-reach, PITA bolts/nuts. The next time you do the valve covers and oil rail will be a lot easier.

Blow/vacuum it all off good before you open the covers, be careful with your nipple cups and drizzle some oil in the tops of those injectors going back together. It would take my old self using hand tools a lot longer than the speed techs, maybe 4 hours for both sides,
