FICM Plug Replacement Warning

ALCON,

Happy New Year!!!

Please beware if you are going to replace your FICM plugs with any of the Alliant. I recently replaced my middle ficm plug (AP0019) and it will not fit into my FICM. I have already emailed the vendor who I purchased it from and am working with him to see what happened. The box I received specified AP0019, so I am not sure whats happened.

For people who don't know, there are two short plugs and 1 long plug. The two short ones are the two in the rear of the FICM(Closest to the Firewall) and the long plug is the last one closest to the front of the actual truck.

Everything was replaced correctly, but the plugs are just different, I can see where it's smashing my gray rubber on the actual FICM because it doesn't line up correctly. I did some testing and it will fit into the rear plug slot!!!! So something is up and I just wanted to let everybody know in case they run into this issue.

Alliant has had regular issues with packaging. It seems clear that you received AP0020 - the rear plug.

We always check our plugs before they ship to avoid this very issue.

Sorry you are having issues.
