My Econoline vin

Just bought a second generation Econoline. Need help desiphering the VIN Number. Anyone help here? Thx in advance.E26GHD57883

A '68 1969 with a 302.

vinwiz.com VIN Decoder (No one told them about the '68/'69 thing)

E26 = Display van

G = 302 2V

H = Lorain assembly plant

D57883 = "Cataloged as 1969" Even though this numerical series is for 1968 for all other vehicles. Econolines are deemed 1969 models.

There should be another plate with axle, trans GVWR etc on it.

Thanks for your help. APPRECIATE YOU TAKING THE TIME. Just broke down & bought a ford MPC for future use. Should have bought one decades ago.
