Bought a truck with with program installed. Programmer lost.
Bought a 01 F350 with a program from a Hypertech installed but owner lost the programmer. Can I install a Hydra chip without screwing it the truck up?

Yes, the Hydra will override any other programming on the PCM if installed correctly.
It would be a good idea to make sure no other programmers, chips or auxiliary tuning equipment is installed as well.
