I recently had a problem with ac going off and on at random. replaced blower motor , resistor and wire coupler. the compressor is always still on. only blower off. the problem kept happening until I figured out it is the ground to the blower. I ran a new ground to the battery and everything works perfectly but now I cant control the fan. Does anyone know where I might look that it picks up its ground so I could fix the problem properly? I live in Florida so I am thankful I can make it work at all. any info appreciated.

Remove the kick panels in the cabin and inspect the grounds for body rot, corrosion, or loose connectors. Start on the passenger side.
Remove the extra ground you attached to the blower motor, it's in the wrong place and will cause you to loose control of the blower speed. The ground for the blower has to go thorough the resistor and the blower speed switch for it to work properly.
