AOD tailshaft
Does anyone know the length of the tailshaft on an AOD tranny in a 1990 F-150 with a 302? It's either 10 1/4 or 11 1/4. Is this the length of the shaft itself or the case extension? Thanks alot!

They came both ways on trucks. Though normally the truck uses an 11 1/4 the same as most Lincons
Just measure the tail shaft, it is very simple to do.
