Another 400 build.
I have no idea if you'll be able to run 87 without detonation, but adjusting timing by a few degrees as you once mentioned will take care of that.
I foresee no detonation issues with 91. (89 might work if it's available to you.)
The reduced deck height and closed chamber heads will make the burn more efficient, so you can back off the WOT timing, and run the idle timing at whatever feels best (14* - 20*).
Obviously the timing curve will have to be customized and dialed in.
The rise in SCR will warrant a cooler spark plug. (Start with one point lower than the existing plugs.)
When assembling the engine, the deck height etc can be measured to produce an accurate SCR.
The DCR is nothing more than an estimate, but a useful estimate all the same.
Note the estimated cylinder pressure in the Wallace calculator, as that can be compared to the actual pressure(s) when the engine is up and running.
