Keep a set of points in the glovebox in case the electronic module goes bad. I bought a car with Pertronix once, it went bad within a year so I switched back to points and never had another ignition problem. I did eventually swap in a distributor with an optical pickup once that distributor got worn enough to have timing scatter, but the points never gave any trouble over the ~8 years I used them. It was a daily driver too, not something that saw limited mileage.
