Death wobble

Hi everyone. I own 2017 f350. First death wobble was 13000. Then second was 22000. Got it fixed both times. I have no warranty beside the diesel one.

I have now 65 k miles. I got death wobble again. Is there any fixes or suggestions

When you say you got it fixed both times what did the fix consist of?

Are you leveled or lifted? Do you know where your caster is at?

Get an adjustable track bar from Icon. It has a heim joint instead of a bushing.

The only time I 've had deathwobble on 15 different Fords was with the factory track bar. Not one time with the ICON.

I run 10" wide wheels too.

I’m trying sumo springs. They are cheap and easy to install. Thought process is since they are constantly in contact they act as a damper to roll.

I"ve had 21 Fords since 05 when the coil spring front end came out. Always had an Icon track bar. Only time I had death wobble was with the stock track bar about two weeks before I traded the truck in. Stock wheels.

Always had 10" wide wheels.

It's the crappy bushing on the track bar. Can't say it enough.

Find a good off road shop, f the dealerships. Jeep guys are hip to the issue and can do the same troubleshooting on your Super Duty. Lots of times it's the track bar bushings, but can be other worn joints. As 4wd6.7L said, stabilizer may buy you some grace but not for long. Once the slop is located and parts are replaced, all good. Keep in mind there have been factory installed parts that have failed on new trucks with only a couple thousand miles on them causing the condition. Do yourself a favor and pay the little extra for quality parts.

Do not dry steer these front ends. By doing so, you'll surely send the components to an early grave.

Seems like the Icon heim joint track bar is a strong possibility for curing the problem. That is the route I would go in addition to having a shop check for worn tie rod ends and drag link. It is always advisable to have all of the steering parts replaced at the same time when you have an issue like this.
