NEED HELP PLEASE!!!

Hello everybody ! I'm new to the forum thanks for accepting me!

I bought this 2014 Ford E-350 Cutaway shuttle bus, my intention is to turn it into a mobile home, the vehicle was bought at auction, it was used as public transportation in Pennsylvania, it had a security camera system of which only the cables remain, it has two batteries and many other accessories that are not used.

I would like to know, can an inverter be installed? I would like the additional batteries that I am going to install to charge with the alternator, could I install it in the second battery? or do I need to install it on the main battery? Would you need to use an isolator? Or having two batteries already has it installed from the factory? By having two batteries would it be 12 or 24 volts? Does anyone know of an electrical diagram?

Can someone please help me ? It's my first Ford vehicle and I don't know anything about them

Thanks to all in advance !!

you can run an inverter. Follow manufacture's directions. Most motorhomes have two battery systems. One for the chassis (what you have) and one for the house. Use deep cycle batteries for the house (lithium are better and cost more) wired in parrallel to maintain 12 volts (not 24) You can gain more, and better, information, on RV forums. Good luck

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess the 6.8L V10 2V. Doubtful the 5.4L V8 2V would be used to move something that heavy.

A simple way to test if you have an isolator, which should be installed, is to measure each battery voltage when the vehicle is off. They will probably measure a different voltage. Once the engine is running, the isolator should see the higher volts and then open so both batteries are being charged. I would simply follow the auxiliary battery positive wire and you should find the isolator. To beef up your house battery bank, you can run additional 12V batteries in parallel to that auxiliary bank. Or what most people do is run 6V in series to 12V as they are true deep cycle and are cheaper. (Other option is Lithium but you'll be spending close to $1k).

As stated above, you'll probably want to check into an RV forum for more information. There are many RV's powered by the Ford Triton V10.
