There’s a dealer on eBay that sells the factory safe for around $280 if I recall. It’s $330 if you order it factory installed, but it’s a super easy install after the fact too.

Are the factory safes easy to remove? I have one ordered, but my truck isn’t here yet. Could a thief remove it easily?

You can find video’s on YouTube on how to install and decide if you think easy or hard to remove. My guess is very difficult.

I have one in my 2013 F250, Plan to get one for my next truck. Easy to install, not easy to remove when they are locked in. They're from consolevault.com,

Seems that the spreadsheet is down? I ordered a 2022 F450 platinum on 12/7 and got confirmation from Ford on 12/9, but haven’t heard anything since. No production date or vin, and when you call in they only say “we’re sorry we can’t say anything”. Not exactly confidence building communication. Long story short I sold my F350 to my pops and I need a truck to haul my Lance. Has anyone had a vin or build date given to them from Ford after 12/7??
