Electrical Nightmare
Got in my truck this morning and my battery's wouldn't start it up. Maintenance jump started, then it began.... wiper would go up and sometimes stay up, when turned off, and wouldn't work when turned on.. radio, not working, windows, not working.. guages not working.. then suddenly the guages came on and everything worked except the wipers.. now when you start up, there is a 5-10 second delay for guages, radio, windows, and ?.. and still no wipers.. also, go into passing gear pulling a hill and the orange engine light comes on (bottom left below fuel guage).. auto headlights don't work either. Help! Thanks

I would try replacing the batteries first.. I have seen a bad battery cause the issues, You also need to check the alternator output. It could be a ground, but if it was running alright when you parked it I would go with checking the batteries first.

Took the truck to ford today, believe it or not, a wire from my lighter plug to the fuse panel caused the entire mess.. ? How, why? Moved it to another unused fuse and everything works great? Weird..
