Scanners
I want to post pictures of my truck like everybody else does.
What is the best(easiest) scaner to buy? I'll be looking for your replies Thanks.
Being a thirfty and want the best for the buck kinda guy,
It came down to TWO different scanners.
I chose the *Microtek Slimscan C6*
The features & software that came with it are un-believable.
The Price that it retailed for, was the clincher.$139.00 CDN
I don't know if this model is still available but I assure you a Microtek is well worth the money.

Does that camera come with the reflection of a Jokester on the screen?
I would still think a scanner is the best option for resolution on OLD photo's.
A digital camera is good for NEWLY taken photo's.

Yep, but with the miracles of modern technology, I was able to hide it

That and a non-glare monitor that is.

This is another one cropped from a 2048x1536 24 bit jpeg

For amateur use, I'm happy with it. I wish I had a newer color glossy to try. The camera is a Sony DSC-S70 that's about 2 years old.
I'd bet the newer ones are even better.
BTW, That's a pic of me and my grand dad when I was just over 1 year old taken back in 1964. It's about 4" wide by 2" tall.
