decoding rear end tag
I have read over some threads. Some have links but they seem to be 404'ed. I have a 1995 f150 5.0 4x4 and the differential tag says.

Back to the top for you. I only recognize the "3 55" part as the gear ratio installed originally. But never remember what all the other codes are indicating.
Just re-read this and realize you said it's out of a '95 F150 (so probably a Ford 8.8" rear end?) so you might ask the question in the '80-'96 forum as well.
