Not looking for opinions on the product, looking for help. I installed the new Z Flash BCM in my '19 F250 Lariat, factory LEDs all-around.
I am only getting 3 patterns, and in every one the tails and reverse lights flash together. the front TS & DRL flash together, and do alternate, as well as the bed light and 3rd brake light...
I checked every plug for bent pins, even moved the module plugs around, still the same.
I thought maybe changing my DRLs to include the parking lights using ForScan might have affected it, but I disabled that, no luck, re-enabled.
I got this truck used, and it appears the previous owner may have made some changes, as it had police idle enabled and the trailer brake controller disabled. I wonder if there is another change(s) that is affecting the back lights and therefore affecting the Z Flach BCM module???
I have the Z flash for the 17 through 19 but I have a 2021 now has anyone figured out a way to make it work in a 21 without having to buy a new one?
I was told by the Z Flash people that the BCM module is the only option for 2020 and up. Nothing will happen with the OBD module in a newer truck.
I just got done installing the one from my previous 2020 into my 2022. Kind of a PIA. The one factory plug has zero extra wire to push it up out of the way to reinstall the kick panel.
To the OP, are you sure all the plugs are in the correct ports? I just went through an install with no instruction sheet, as I'd lost it. Turned out I had one in the wrong port. Some of the lights would flash but not all that were supposed to. It also caused a no start condition due to the key not being recognized because of my own error. I contacted Z Flash and they assured me the module that was in my 2020 should work in the 2022. They sent a PDF of the instructions and I got myself straightened out.

yes it is the OBD wireless plug-in-one so it plugs in underneath the driver side dash. It fits in perfectly I’m just surprised that it doesn’t do anything I figured somebody would’ve figured out how to bypass the issue

Apparently the truck's modules have changed enough between the model years that using the OBD unit on a newer truck is not going to happen. I know that it wouldn't work for me going from a 2019 to a 2020. I think I sold it to someone from these forums.
