P2552 code FIXED
Hi All, just a few notes on a P2552 code that I was having after I put new nipples and seals in rails, injector top seals and stand pipes on my grandson's truck.
I was getting a code for #2 injector circuit low and also the P2552 code and I could tell a cylinder was not firing, running rough and excess smoke. I could not clear the P2552 code or the #2 injector circuit low code.
I checked FICM plugs, all seemed fine, no pins backed out, pins on the FICM itself were fine and didn't see any harness damage.
I checked #2 injector, harness plug was fine, but when I looked at the male side in the head, #4 pin was pushed in and not making connection. I took a pair of needle nose pliers and pulled the pin back into place. That had to happen when I was plugging it in after replacing top injector seal, my fault.
I'm using an Edge CTS so I also unplugged the scanner overnight and restarted it next morning to be sure any ghost codes were gone. I've read here on the forum that they are bad to do that.
Got everything re-connected and truck is running fine except for a P0670, which I'll fix next.
