Noticed some fuel underneath this morning. Looks like its leaking from the front of the tank, perhaps a seal. Hopefully only a minor fix? I searched and can see I'm not the only one but can't quite tell if they are the same type of leak or not
I'll take it to the dealer but is it safe to drive? I haven't driven yet today but its bit close to the exhaust. Warranty just ran out but I've got extended
About mid tank on top. Use a mirror, bore scope or your phone camera and look around the vent.
Mine leaks there when the tank is full and parked on a hill. And the leak doesn't show up where the source is since it hits the skid plate and travels.
Was just at the dealer and they blamed it on the auxiliary fuel tank which was turned off electrically and mechanically and was not installed when I first had the leak.
Thanks for your reply. Makes sense but it would be a first since I've owned it. Not quite full and no hills though. I managed to get 1 ok pic and can barley see that it may in fact be traveling . I wound up dropping it off so curious to see what they will have to say... or blame it on
