Equal length shorty header options

Equal length shorty header options
Will BBK equal length shortys work in my 1988 f150 2x4? The bolt patterns might match but I’m worried about everything else in the bay. BBK Part# 1512
if they wouldn’t work, what shorty brands are y’all going with? What should I stay away from?

Equal lenght shorty headers... of any brand. Just don't go there.
You need truck specific headers, mustang headers will not mate with the truck Y pipe.

The rest of the exhaust from the collectors down would be custom. I just wanna know if the equal lengths will clear

Even if, by some miracle, the equal lengths did clear every obstacle in the engine bay, hold them up to the motor and take a look at the absolute nightmare it will be to change spark plugs with them installed.

Ok but are they equal length or not? If so, is the model number?

Sorry, no they are not equal length. From all of the research I had done, there was not enough ROI to make it worth the extra cost and headache to go that route on the mostly stock 351W I now have in the truck..
