My MAT sensor was leaking through itself. Suspect yours is doing the same. I purchased a parts store version (I know, not recommended ) and replaced. Then epoxied the original to seal it up. It’s now in the spare parts box behind the seat. Not sure it was a “significant” leak though.

Later found a leak at the plenum. That has yet to be corrected as life has gotten in the way.

Confirmed, two leaks ID'd.

Let us know how you resolve them. I used some thread sealant on a lot of my fittings when assembling the T4 kit. Has held up well so far.

you don't want to pressurize the ccv, remove the center peice that has the ccv connected to it and put your boost leak detector inside the rubber tube that leads to the turbo👍

i did exactly that, you still get air from your ccv , I could/did plug it with my finger and would get hissing of air from my dipstick
push down on the dipstick and could hear no more air except from the maf
I figured that since you are still pressurizing the intake, you are going to get something into the block? is this not correct?!?

Noted will not do it again!

As i explained earlier i would elaborate as to why i am looking for boost leaks, I have not hooked up the laptop and forscan yet, will try to today

Been a little busy with the wife on the mend from her new knee!

When cold i have a real nice even idle, but a little down on take off throttle
when warmed up i can hear/feel the idle is not smooth , no miss but not smooth
Also as i accelerate i can feel say about 3rd gear the turbo sound changes like it just vented off boost, I tried to get a video of it but you really can't hear it, but i can feel it
I will use forscan to run through what i am describing, cold idle , driving and accelerating then warm idle to see what i can see

Maybe it's just me looking for something to do while i am at home with the wife, LOL she is about to kick me out, tired of me taking care of her!

I don't know about the rest of yas but I could hear air leaking somewhere when I pressurized mine but I sprayed the entire boost system and got no bubbles so I went away happy. And my understanding is that you DO NOT want to pressurize the crankcase without venting or you'll likely blow some seals that are not designed to withstand any pressure.

i get that you don’t want to pressurize the the crankcase I was already leaking down to about 10 psi when I put my finger in the ccv then heard air coming from the dipstick took the truck out after that and feel no I’ll affects
